The Council of Ministers has amended the procedure for reimbursing expenses during official business trips. Government Resolution No. 135 dated March 23 was published today on the National Legal Internet Portal and will enter into force 10 days after publication.
Under the document, chairpersons of regional executive committees and the Minsk City Executive Committee will now be reimbursed for business-class airfare during official foreign trips, in line with the rules established for members of the Council of Ministers.
At the same time, the government has уточнено these rules. Business-class travel will be reimbursed only for flights lasting more than three hours. If travel time is less than three hours, business-class tickets will be reimbursed only if no other fare options are available. Additionally, in the case of a transfer to a flight lasting less than three hours, a business-class ticket may be purchased if the waiting time for the connecting flight exceeds three hours.
The resolution also increases the daily allowance for business trips within Belarus from 12 to 13 rubles.
