The Council of Ministers has approved an intergovernmental agreement between Belarus and Kyrgyzstan on the mutual recognition and exchange of national driving licenses.
The agreement was signed on July 5 in Bishkek during a visit by Prime Minister Aliaksandr Turchyn.
“Under the document, the parties mutually recognize driving licenses issued by the competent authorities of the two states. The agreement establishes the right of citizens of Belarus and Kyrgyzstan to exchange driving licenses without taking the relevant theoretical and practical tests after being granted a permanent residence permit,” the government’s press service said.
By approving the agreement, the Council of Ministers of Belarus completed the procedures required for it to enter into force.
