The price of gas for EAEU countries does not exceed $200 per 1,000 cubic meters, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said at a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council.
“Third, energy security and, of course, preserving the advantages of our countries and companies, both in terms of attracting investment and promoting Union goods in foreign markets. We have created favorable conditions for the development of our economies. For comparison, gas prices in Europe are about $900 per 1,000 cubic meters. For the member states, this figure does not exceed $200. Given the price difference, the economic benefit amounts to hundreds of millions of dollars. This is an undeniable advantage enjoyed by the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union thanks to the operation of the common energy market,” he said.
