For the first time this autumn-winter season, forecasters have issued a yellow weather alert due to icy road conditions.
“Icy conditions are expected on some roads across the country overnight and in the morning on November 5 (Thursday),” the warning said.
Tomorrow’s weather in Belarus will be mainly influenced by an area of high atmospheric pressure, while weak weather fronts will affect the north-eastern half of the country.
Cloudy skies with sunny intervals are expected. Light precipitation, mainly in the north-eastern half of the country, is forecast in the form of rain, with sleet possible overnight. Winds will be moderate and north-westerly, becoming gusty in some areas during the day. Minimum overnight temperatures will range from -2°C to +3°C, while daytime highs will reach +6°C to +11°C.
