First Deputy Chief of Armaments of Belarusian Armed Forces Relieved of Duties

Major General Vitaly Shestak has been relieved of his post as First Deputy Chief of Armaments of the Belarusian Armed Forces and Chief of the Armaments Staff, a position he had held since March 2023. The corresponding decree was signed on Thursday by Aliaksandr Lukashenka, according to the presidential press service.

Shestak was discharged from military service into the reserve upon reaching the age limit, with the right to continue wearing his military uniform and insignia.
