The Minsk City Executive Committee’s Main Department of Internal Affairs Traffic Police Department reported a fatal crash at the intersection of Kupryyanava and Karl Liebknecht streets in Minsk. According to preliminary information, the 63-year-old Lada driver became unwell while driving.
The car left the roadway, entered a yard on 2nd Roza Luxemburg Lane and crashed into a tree. The vehicle overturned after the collision. The driver died before an ambulance crew arrived.
Officers from the Traffic Police Department of the Moscow District Department of Internal Affairs in Minsk and an investigative team are working at the scene of the tragedy. An investigation into the crash is underway.
