Work on the road extending Karastayanava Street to Langbard Street in Minsk is expected to be completed by the end of the year, Minskstroy reported.
The first section, measuring 1.23 km and approaching from the North Waterfront development, was commissioned in 2024. Construction is now being completed on a further 980 metres of the six-lane road.
More than 60 specialists and workers, along with around 50 pieces of equipment, are currently working at the site.
“The aim is to open a new transport corridor linking North Waterfront with Minsk this year. This will create a direct through route in the city’s road network from the Second Ring Road to North Waterfront, as well as an exit onto the Minsk Ring Road,” Minskstroy said.
