The European Union may impose new sanctions on Russia in October, Politico reported, citing diplomatic sources.
The sanctions issue will be discussed at an informal meeting of EU foreign ministers to be held in Ireland on September 1-2.
One of the publication’s sources said that as many as 1,600 individuals and legal entities could be targeted by the restrictions.
