Firefighters extinguished a fire involving an electric vehicle on Maskouskaya Street in Minsk overnight.
Upon arrival, Emergency Situations Ministry personnel found thick smoke coming from the vehicle.
“Special wheeled extinguishing devices were used to put out the fire, directing water directly into the battery housing,” the Emergency Situations Ministry said.
After the fire was extinguished, the vehicle was placed in a special mobile tank for 24 hours to prevent reignition.
The cause of the fire is being investigated. Ten units of Emergency Situations Ministry equipment were deployed at the scene.
