Dziadok’s Page Added to List of “Extremist Materials”

The Information Ministry has updated its list of “extremist materials.”

The Facebook page of former political prisoner Mikola Dziadok has been added to the list. The Threads account of journalist Pavel Sviardlou has also been included.

In addition, the list now includes:

• the “Daily World News” TikTok account,
• the Facebook accounts “Alexandr Boiko” and “Vitali Sodzel.”

In Belarus, accusations of extremism are used to persecute opponents of Lukashenka and dissent more broadly.
