Traffic police in Orsha District detained a 62-year-old intoxicated driver who was carrying four passengers, including three minors.
According to the Interior Ministry’s press service, the Volkswagen was stopped during a patrol in the agricultural town of Borzdovka. When checking the driver’s documents, officers became suspicious of his physical condition. A breath test showed an alcohol level of almost 1.5 parts per thousand. The man was removed from the wheel, and the car was taken to a secure parking facility.
The driver was fined 200 base units (9,000 roubles) and banned from driving for five years.
