A drone was found in Romania on Sept. 1, 30 km from the border with Moldova. A local resident found it in a field near the village of Viișoara. There were no casualties or damage on the ground, Digi24 reports.
The area was cordoned off. A pyrotechnics team from the Romanian Intelligence Service (SRI) arrived at the scene. It was established that the drone was carrying explosives.
The Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Iași Court of Appeal will investigate the circumstances of the incident.
