Director of the Entrepreneurship Development Support Fund to Join Social Protection Fund Board

Belarus has updated the composition of the board of the Social Protection Fund. Decree No. 345 of October 1 was published today on the National Legal Internet Portal.

The document amends the regulations governing the Social Protection Fund concerning electronic information exchange.

The composition of the Social Protection Fund board has also been clarified. It now includes:

• the Minister of Labour and Social Protection (board chair),
• the Fund’s managing director (deputy board chair) and their deputies by virtue of their positions,
• one representative each from the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Economy and the National Bank,
• a representative of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus,
• the director of the Republican Entrepreneurship Development Support Fund.

Previously, the Fund’s board included representatives of “republican associations of employers and trade unions”.
