Customs Intercepts Sole Proprietor With Goods Worth Half a Million Rubles

Homiel Customs stopped five vehicles belonging to a sole proprietor during an operational inspection. The vehicles contained more than 40,000 items of clothing, footwear, bags and other goods. The total value of the cargo was estimated at 500,000 rubles.

According to customs officials, the sole proprietor failed to present the goods for customs inspection before they were handed over to private individuals.

Administrative proceedings have been initiated.
