A criminal case has been opened in Minsk against a 50-year-old taxi driver who hit a six-year-old child in a courtyard on Rafieva Street.
The accident occurred this afternoon. According to preliminary information from the Investigative Committee, the child ran onto the road as a taxi was driving through the courtyard. The child sustained injuries and was taken to hospital.
At the scene, investigators inspected the area, recorded traces, interviewed witnesses and ordered forensic examinations.
The criminal case was opened under Part 2 of Article 317 of the Criminal Code, which concerns traffic violations resulting in serious bodily injury.
