Coordination Council Creates Temporary Commission on Priorities for International Support to Belarus

The Coordination Council of Belarus is creating a temporary commission to prepare a “Needs Assessment” document. Coordination Council delegates voted in favor of the decision.

The initiative to create the commission came from the “Latushka Coalition and For Freedom Movement” faction.

The commission’s goal is to ensure the Coordination Council’s participation in shaping a consolidated position of Belarusian democratic forces and civil society on the priorities for international support for Belarus.

Yury Hubarevich, representing the “Latushka Coalition and For Freedom Movement” faction, was elected chair of the commission. Alisa Ryzhychenka of the “European Choice” faction was elected his deputy, the Coordination Council’s press service reported.
