Polish customs officers discovered 25,000 packs of cigarettes being transported from Belarus.
The contraband was found in a freight train carriage while the train was being scanned at the terminal in Małaszewicze.
Customs officers spotted a hidden compartment in the front section of the carriage. A hatch beneath a specially modified floor concealed boxes of cigarettes.
A total of 25,000 packs of cigarettes were seized, worth more than 500,000 zlotys ($127,000).
