Child Nearly Drowns in Artificial Pond in Barysau District

A young child nearly drowned in a decorative pond on private property in the Barysau District, the Investigative Committee’s press service reported.

On the evening of May 28 in the agrotown of Loshnitsa, a mother discovered her youngest son in an artificial pond located on private property. While she was planting flowers in front of the house, the children were playing in the backyard. After hearing a child crying, she found her son in the water.

The mother pulled her son from the pond and performed resuscitation measures herself. The child was hospitalized, and doctors continue to provide medical assistance. The Investigative Committee is conducting an inquiry.
