A child aged one year and four months fell from a fifth-floor window in Maryina Horka after his mother briefly left the room. The incident occurred at around 2:00 p.m. today, the Investigative Committee reported.
The woman had left her son in a crib positioned near a window that had been opened for ventilation. A few minutes later, she returned to the room and found the child was no longer in the bed. Looking out of the window, she saw her son lying on the ground below.
The boy was taken to hospital. His condition is stable, and there is no immediate threat to his life.
