A Belarusian delegation has arrived in Zimbabwe to “strengthen bilateral ties.” It is headed by Volha Chamadanava, chair of the Belaya Rus party.
The ruling ZANU-PF (Zimbabwe African National Union – Patriotic Front) party’s press service published a video of the delegation’s reception at the airport.
An extraordinary session of the ZANU-PF Politburo is taking place in Harare on October 9. Chamadanava and her delegation are likely to have travelled to Zimbabwe for the event.
“It was a long journey, but it was worth it. We have many meetings ahead. We are ready to meet with our colleagues and share our impressions. Most importantly, we look forward to enjoying your country and strengthening the friendship between our countries once again,” Chamadanava said.
