Bookshop Night was celebrated in Białystok and Warsaw with the participation of the Belarusian bookshop Kamunikat.shop.
Events featuring authors and readers, book presentations and musical performances were held at the Belarusian Culture Centre in Białystok and the Belarusian Solidarity Centre in Warsaw.
Throughout the day, both Kamunikat.shop bookshops at the two centres offered a 10% discount on all books.
The Kamunikat.shop bookshop opened on the ground floor of the Belarusian Culture Centre in Białystok on September 8. The Kamunikat Foundation’s Kamunikat.shop bookshop at the Belarusian Solidarity Centre in Warsaw opened on April 29.
Recently, Yaraslau Ivaniuk, publisher and founder of the Kamunikat publishing house, was added to Russia’s wanted database.
