BelGee sales in Russia declined year on year for the second consecutive month. This is indicated by data from the Avtostat agency.
In September, 4,861 BelGee vehicles were sold in Russia, 41.8% fewer than in the same period last year.
From January to September, sales of the Belarusian brand totaled 42,977 vehicles, 6.1% more than last year.
The Belarusian brand’s market share declined over the year from 4.52% to 4.48%.
BelGee X50+ is among the 10 most popular models this year. In September, 3,037 units were sold, while sales for the first nine months totaled 16,058.
The Russian passenger car market contracted by 6.2% in September to 115,000 vehicles. Over the first nine months, the market grew by 7.2% to 960,000 vehicles.
Lada remains the market leader. A total of 236,800 vehicles were sold in the first nine months, 0.4% fewer than a year earlier. It was followed by Haval (127,670, +16.4% year on year), Tenet (101,100, 36-fold increase), and Geely (58,080, -6.9%).
