Belarusians Can Apply for Swedish Visas Through Hungarian Embassy in Minsk

Sweden has signed an agreement with Hungary on visa representation. Belarusian citizens can now submit applications for short-term Schengen visas to Sweden through the Hungarian Embassy in Minsk. The Swedish Embassy in Belarus said this.

The arrangement concerns Type C visas, which allow holders to stay in the Schengen area for up to 90 days in any 180-day period. Information on the application procedure is available on the website of the Hungarian Embassy.

Applications for Swedish Type D visas will continue to be accepted by the Swedish Embassy in Moscow. Such visas are intended, among others, for diplomats and applicants who have lost their residence permits.

The Swedish Embassy in Moscow will also continue to conduct interviews, collect biometric data and carry out passport checks. These procedures will be available two days a week — on Mondays and Tuesdays.
