Belarusian Woman Detained at Polish Border Driving Stolen $77,000 BMW

A Belarusian citizen attempted to drive from Poland into Lithuania in a stolen BMW, the Polish Border Guard reports.

Polish border guards inspected a BMW 740d xDrive with Polish license plates at the temporary border crossing in Budzisko on the Polish-Lithuanian border. The vehicle was driven by a 38-year-old Belarusian woman.

The inspection revealed that the 2022 BMW had been reported stolen in Poland in July this year. The vehicle is valued at approximately 300,000 zlotys ($77,000).

The Belarusian woman was detained and the vehicle was seized. The case has been handed over to the police.
