Belarusian Railway to Purchase 100 Railcars From Asipovichy Plant

Belarusian Railway is purchasing 100 new railcars this year from JSC Asipovichy Transport Engineering Plant.

From January through August, 43 flatcars have already been delivered. By the end of the year, the railway is due to receive another 42 flatcars and 15 covered railcars.

“This rolling stock is in demand among freight shippers for transporting a wide range of cargo, including construction materials, agricultural machinery, paper industry products, food products and consolidated cargo”, the railway’s press center said.
