The Belarusian Railway has begun introducing the KROK instant payment service. Starting October 1, customers can pay for services using a QR code in the Club SV premium lounge at Minsk-Passazhyrski station.
The service is also available for paying for stays in rest rooms at Baranavichy-Palesskia, Brest-Centralny, Vitsyebsk, Hrodna, Mahiliou and Pinsk stations. KROK can also be used to pay for additional rest-room services, including tea products and toiletries.
In addition, customers will be able to pay for rest-room services not only with a bank card, but also with a smartphone, smartwatch or fitness tracker that supports NFC.
The service is being introduced through cooperation between the Belarusian Railway, Belarusbank and the Banking Processing Center. The railway plans to expand the use of QR-code payments for services at transport infrastructure facilities, the Belarusian Railway press service said.
