The State Border Committee reported the detention of a Belarusian citizen near the Lithuanian border after a homemade fixed-wing drone was found in his car. The incident occurred on October 26.
Administrative proceedings have been initiated against the man for violating the border regime and possessing a drone. The latter is prohibited for individuals in Belarus.
There was no mention of cigarettes being found in the detainee’s car or of his involvement in smuggling.
