A Belarusian citizen was deported from Poland and banned from entering the Schengen Area for eight years. He had been driving a city bus while under the influence of alcohol.
Polish Border Guard officers checked the legality of the 49-year-old Belarusian’s stay in the city of Zamość (Lublin Voivodeship) and determined that his continued stay in Poland posed a threat to security and public order.
The man’s Polish national visa was revoked. He was escorted to a border crossing under guard, the Nadbużański Border Guard Unit of Poland reports.
