The Cheryomushkinsky District Court of Moscow sentenced a 26-year-old Belarusian citizen to 240 hours of community service for stealing from a sex shop. The man stole an expensive sex toy after learning its price, Shot reported.
According to the outlet, the man went to the store and asked the sales assistant to bring him an “elite full-body masturbator” and lubricant. After learning that the selected item cost 21,000 Russian roubles (about $240), he decided not to abandon the purchase, took the item and left the store without paying for it. The man was identified using surveillance camera footage. Police detained him and recovered the stolen item.
The defendant pleaded guilty in court and apologized. It emerged that he was employed and provided financial support to his parents and grandmother. The court sentenced him to 240 hours of community service.
