Belarusian customs officers stopped a cargo van with a trailer at the border with Russia. It was carrying goods that were “intended to be illegally imported into Belarus”.
A total of 13,000 items were seized, including clothing, footwear, children’s toys, fabrics, kitchen appliances and other goods.
The driver was unable to produce accompanying documents for the goods. Administrative proceedings have been initiated.
