The Belarusian Ministry of Information has updated its list of “extremist materials.”
The following accounts and pages have been added to the list:
- Threads account “znivien_2020” belonging to Belarusian clothing brand Znivien,
- Instagram accounts “Алена Жаркевiч”, “Саня Наўковіч”, “Сергей Будкiн” and “Новости Беларусь”,
- Telegram channel “Беларусь Беларуская”,
- Telegram chat “Землянка”,
- YouTube channel “Евгений Глушков”,
- Facebook pages “Честные люди”, “Siarhei Bespalau” and “Піліп Шаўроў”,
- TikTok account “KOZYR”.
Accusations of extremism are used in Belarus to persecute Lukashenka’s opponents and suppress dissent more broadly.
