Belarusian Bank Raises Fee for Accepting Cash Russian Rubles to 20%

Belarusian Neo Bank Asia has increased the fee for depositing cash Russian rubles into bank accounts to 20%.

“This fee applies to all individuals, including both residents and non-residents. For newly opened accounts, the changes take effect on July 29, 2026. For accounts opened before that date, the new tariff will come into force on Aug. 31, 2026.”, the bank’s press service said.

In June, Belarusian banks began widely introducing fees for depositing cash Russian rubles into the accounts of non-residents. At that time, the fees ranged from 2% to 5%. In July, Belarusbank and Sber Bank increased such fees to 15%.
