Belarusian And Kazakh Reconnaissance Troops To Cover 40 Km Across Two Districts

A joint exercise of reconnaissance units from Belarus and Kazakhstan, “Forest Brotherhood — 2026,” is continuing in Brest Region.

According to the Belarusian Defense Ministry, the participants have moved to the area where they will carry out their tasks. They will have to cover about 40 km through forested and marshy terrain in the Brest and Malaryta districts.

Over the course of two days, the servicemen will practice organizing ambushes, searching for caches, reaching a reconnaissance area and destroying simulated illegal armed groups.

Units of the Belarusian Armed Forces will act as the reconnaissance troops’ opponents.
