Belarusbank has decided to lower interest rates on some real estate loans and introduce preferential periods.
According to the bank’s press service, the annual interest rate on the Mortgage Express loan will now be 12% for the first 24 months and 14.4% thereafter. The current rate is 15.4% per year.
From October 19, the StroyDom loan, which is available for the construction or purchase of a prefabricated house kit, a house for seasonal or temporary residence (such as a summer house or garden cottage), or business apartments, can be taken out for up to 15 years. The annual interest rate is 14.4%. The loan term has been extended by three years, while the maximum loan amount has increased by 100,000 Belarusian rubles to 300,000 rubles.
