Belarus is among the five largest importers of Russian packaged milk and cream. The figures were published by Agroexport, a centre under Russia’s Ministry of Agriculture.
From January to August, Russia exported more than 24,000 tonnes of packaged milk and cream worth around $35 million.
Kazakhstan was the largest buyer, receiving products worth $15.5 million. Belarus ranked fourth among importers of Russian packaged milk and cream, with deliveries valued at more than $2.5 million.
Packaged milk and cream from Russia were supplied to more than 70 countries this year, the report said.
