Belarus Becomes Main Buyer of Russian Canned Mushrooms

Belarus ranks first among destinations for Russian exports of canned mushrooms. This was reported by the Agroexport Center of Russia’s Agriculture Ministry.

In January-August, Russian exports of canned mushrooms totaled about $1.3 million. A total of 500 metric tons were exported. Compared with the same period last year, exports increased by 11% in volume and 18% in value.

Mushrooms worth $700,000 were exported to Belarus. Kazakhstan ranked second, with $240,000 worth of canned mushrooms shipped there.
