Belarus Bans Imports of Certain Goods From Latvia

The Belarusian government has introduced a ban on imports of certain goods from Latvia.

“The decision was made because the Latvian side continues to pursue unconstructive approaches and use unfriendly rhetoric in its relations with Belarus,” the government press service said.

The ban covers canned fish and various types of industrial products.

A ban on imports of certain goods from “unfriendly countries”, including Latvia, has been in force since 2021.
