Belarus And North Korea Plan Student Exchange

Belarus and North Korea have agreed to cooperate in the field of education. The agreement was signed during a visit by the Belarusian delegation to Pyongyang, the Belarusian Ministry of Education reported.

The parties plan to exchange students and organize internships for academic staff.

“Under the agreement signed between our ministries of education, provisions are made for student exchange and training, as well as internships for faculty members. Today we see a high level of education in the fields of natural sciences, exact sciences, and engineering. Certainly, we have much to share here,” said Education Minister Andrei Ivanets.

According to Ivanets, North Korea needs training of engineering personnel, specialists in the agro-industrial sector, as well as in natural science fields.
