At least 24 foreign nationals are being held in Belarusian prisons on political grounds, the Viasna Human Rights Centre reports.
According to human rights defenders, foreign political prisoners include citizens of Ukraine, Russia, the Czech Republic, Lithuania and Poland. One stateless political prisoner also remains in detention.
