Alcohol Sales To Be Banned In Mahilyow On May 23 And June 12

The Mahilyow City Executive Committee has restricted alcohol sales within the city by Resolution No. 7-35 dated March 17.

In Mahilyow, the sale of alcohol will be prohibited for a full day on May 23 and June 12. May 23 has been designated as a “Day of Sobriety,” while the June 12 ban is linked to school graduation events.

As usual, an exception to the ban applies to alcohol sold for on-site consumption in catering establishments.
