Agricultural output across all types of farms totaled 31.4 billion rubles in January–September. This represents a 4.6% increase in comparable prices compared with the same period last year, Belstat reported. Output at agricultural organizations rose by 4.4% to 26.4 billion rubles.
In January–September, agricultural organizations produced 5% more livestock and poultry, totaling 1.39 million tonnes; 2.7% more milk, totaling 6.98 million tonnes; and 1.5% more eggs, totaling 2.58 billion units.
As of October 1, agricultural organizations had 3.8 million head of cattle, including 1.3 million cows. The number of pigs stood at 2.1 million, while poultry totaled 50.5 million.
According to Belstat, as of October 1, agricultural organizations had harvested 7.6 million tonnes of grain and leguminous crops in their initially recorded weight, as well as 1.5 million tonnes of rapeseed. The average grain yield was 37.6 centners per hectare, while the rapeseed yield was 31 centners per hectare. Available figures suggest that this year’s grain harvest was lower than last year’s. As of October 1, 2025, Belstat reported a grain harvest of 8 million tonnes, with an average yield of 40 centners per hectare.
As of October 1, Belarus had harvested 421,100 tonnes of potatoes, with an average yield of 338 centners per hectare; 84,400 tonnes of vegetables, with a yield of 219 centners per hectare; and 1.875 million tonnes of sugar beet, with a yield of 440 centners per hectare. A comparison with last year’s figures indicates higher yields for potatoes and vegetables but a lower yield for sugar beet.
