A 17-year-old Volkswagen driver tried to evade traffic police in Babruysk. The teenager ignored an order to stop, then abandoned the car and attempted to flee on foot along with his passengers.
Officers noticed a Volkswagen travelling along one of the city’s roads. The driver failed to stop when instructed by inspectors, prompting a chase. The young man and his passengers were soon detained. The driver was identified as a 17-year-old local resident.
The car was seized and taken to a guarded parking lot. Five administrative reports were filed against the teenager, the Traffic Police Department of the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee’s Internal Affairs Directorate reported.
