Agrokombinat Dzerzhinskiy Records One-Third Increase in Revenue

Agrokombinat Dzerzhinskiy OJSC reported a nearly one-third increase in revenue in its nine-month financial results. The sharp rise is most likely linked to the incorporation of assets in the Vitsyebsk region into the company, a process being carried out on Lukashenka’s orders.

The agricultural complex’s revenue for the first three quarters rose by 32.8% to 919.06 million rubles.

The cost of goods sold increased by 35.8% to 686.38 million rubles.

Net profit, however, fell by 3.2% to 68.4 million rubles.

The company’s long-term liabilities under loans and borrowings also increased by 30.9% to just under 554 million rubles.

This year, Agrokombinat Dzerzhinskiy has already incorporated Tolochin Elevator-Agro UE, Goryany-Orsha Agricultural Unitary Enterprise and Orsha Poultry Farm UE. It has also taken over the management of the Orsha Meat Canning Plant, although the formal acquisition of the company has not yet taken place.

In recent years, Agrokombinat Dzerzhinskiy has regularly incorporated other enterprises. Its subsidiaries now include Slutsk Bakery Products Plant OJSC, Sudnikovsky OJSC, Vileyka Feed Mill OJSC, First Minsk Poultry Farm OJSC and Minsk Meat Processing Plant OJSC.
