Ivatsevichdrev to Return Novasverzhen Woodworking Plant to State Ownership

Under Resolution No. 545 of October 27, the Council of Ministers determined the position of state representatives in the management bodies of Ivatsevichdrev OJSC regarding shares in Novasverzhen Woodworking Plant OJSC. The resolution was published today on the National Legal Internet Portal.

Under the resolution, Ivatsevichdrev OJSC will transfer 51,916 shares in Novasverzhen Woodworking Plant OJSC, representing 100% of the company’s shares, to the Republic of Belarus free of charge. The shares must be transferred into state ownership by December 31, 2026.

It is worth noting that in 2021, when a holding company was established on the basis of Ivatsevichdrev OJSC, 51,045 shares in Novasverzhen Woodworking Plant OJSC were transferred to it from the ownership of the Republic of Belarus at their nominal value. Ivatsevichdrev OJSC subsequently issued an additional batch of shares, which was transferred to the Republic of Belarus. In addition to Novasverzhen Woodworking Plant, shares in nine other companies were transferred to Ivatsevichdrev as part of the holding’s establishment. Before that, all of these companies had been managed by the Development Bank.
