The Number of People Employed in Belarusian Economy Fell by 10,900 in September

In September, 4.1805 million people were employed in Belarus’s economy. This was 10,900 fewer than in August, when employment in the country was rising. The decline in employment may be linked to the gradual end of the agricultural season. Employment also fell in September last year.

Compared with September 2025, the number of people employed in the economy increased by 29,500 over the year.

Compared with December 2019, the number of people employed in the economy decreased by 154,500. At that time, 4.335 million people were employed in the economy.
