Fallen Mobile Crane Damages Railway Overhead Lines, Several Trains Cancelled

Some trains are running late, while others have been cancelled after a mobile crane fell onto the tracks on the Kalodizshchy–Haradzishcha section, the Belarusian Railway reports.

The incident occurred on October 19 during construction and installation work carried out by an outside contractor. The crane fell onto the railway tracks and damaged the overhead contact lines. No one was injured.

Repair crews have been dispatched to the site. Train traffic on the section has been suspended.

Several trains on the Minsk–Orsha and Orsha–Minsk routes are running late. Some regional economy-class trains have been cancelled.
