Trial of Ina Kardash in Kyiv Postponed Again

The court hearing in the case of Belarusian national Ina Kardash, who is accused of espionage in Ukraine, has been postponed for the second time, Radio Svaboda reports.

The trial at the Pecherskyi District Court in Kyiv was initially scheduled to begin on September 21, but the hearing did not take place because the judge was absent, reportedly on an official business trip that day. On October 14, the hearing was postponed again, apparently due to shelling in Kyiv. No new date has been announced.

Kardash remains in pre-trial detention. Her detention has been extended until December 4.

Belarusian journalist Ina Kardash was arrested in Kyiv in January 2026. At the time of her arrest, she worked at the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War. According to the prosecution, Kardash had been cooperating with the Belarusian KGB since 2019.
