Belarusian Tax Authorities Seek 440 Million Rubles in Property and Vehicle Taxes

Tax authorities have sent taxpayers more than 3.6 million notices this year requiring them to pay property taxes.

The total amount of taxes assessed for payment is 440 million rubles, said Dzianis Tsierashkou, deputy head of the Main Directorate for Taxation of Individuals at the Ministry of Taxes and Duties. In Minsk, taxes totaling just under 100 million rubles have been assessed.

Belarusian residents must pay the unified property tax, which includes vehicle, land, and real estate taxes, by November 16.
