Bridge Over Chyzhouskaye Reservoir to Be Built in Minsk

Minsk plans to build two new overpasses. Minsk-Novosti reports this, citing Siarhei Paneu, director of the G ordorstroi company.

The first overpass will cross the railway between Siarova Street and Shpileuskaha Street.

“This is a large-scale project that will entail a whole range of related tasks. In particular, it will provide for the southern arterial road to be routed via Asanalieva Street and for a full-fledged intersection to be built. The traffic layout for access roads to the industrial zone, where Rybokompleks, Keramin, and the Kleon plant are located, will have to be completely redesigned,” he said.

Another bridge will span Chyzhouskaye Reservoir, extending Malinina Street toward Loshitsa.

There are also plans to extend Shyrokaya Street from Zialyony Luh toward North Waterfront.

Authorities are also considering building two interchanges on the Minsk Ring Road in connection with the extensions of Karastayanava Street and Navavilenskaya Street.
