Belarusian Railway has announced a change to the route of the Adler–Minsk train. This time, trains departing from Adler on October 11, 13 and 15 will bypass Homiel. Belarusian railway officials received this information from their Russian counterparts.

The trains will travel via Bryansk, Smolensk and Orsha, arriving in the Belarusian capital at 18:19 instead of 19:03.

Trains between Homiel and Minsk will be organised to transport passengers to stations along the Homiel–Minsk section. They will depart from Minsk at 20:20 and arrive in Homiel at 23:59, while trains departing from Homiel at 14:38 will arrive in Minsk at 19:03.

Minsk–Adler trains departing on October 13, 15 and 17 will follow the current timetable as far as Homiel before taking a diverted route via Mahiliou, Orsha, Smolensk and Bryansk.

No reason has been given for the changes. However, they may be linked to damage or other problems on Russia’s railway network resulting from drone attacks.
